Core Gameplay Loop

TallyUP's core player loop can be understood in the following way:

  1. Earn: The system rewards players a small but real financial stake in the system (e.g. a few cents) which is covered by the ad revenue (and others revenue streams like In-App Purchases) generated by the user's attention and engagement during their gameplay.

  2. Play: Players are then allowed to risk their free balance in simple, competitive gameplay to win larger and larger prize money. This includes various modes of play (cash games, tournaments, raffles / lotteries etc...) which enable players to grow their balance and "cash out" or redeem prizes from the system once a minimum threshold has been reached.

  3. Multiply: While players often start with small amounts of free money (e.g. a few cents), the long-tail nature of odds commonly seen in memecoins and sports betting enable small amounts of money tp quickly multiply into meaningful sums of money. For players, this shot at bigger prizes is infinitely repeatable allowing players to enjoy risk taking without financial consequences.

  4. Repeat: When players cash out or lose their balance, they are instantly and freely restaked by the system and may begin the loop again.

This loop unlocks a powerful economic model and gameplay narrative in which players are not required to spend any money, or possess any advanced gameplay skill or crypto knowledge to get set up and start playing, winning and earning free cryptocurrencies. Players simply download the app and start competing in the tournament economy.

The buy-in for players to participate in a Web3 game economy is simply the value of their attention and engagement.

This allows TallyUP to onboard massive amounts of Web2 players into Web3 frictionlessly, through the value of their attention.
