In-Game Utility

UP Tokens have various utility and usage inside of the game economy.

New Gameplay Currency

UP Tokens may be earned through gameplay, and further be used to power competitive gameplay between players complementing other currencies like USD in the game economy. Players may wager and risk UP Tokens to win more UP Tokens or other currencies and prizes.

This activity incurs fees and burning of UP Tokens as it is passed around between players that are distributed and burned.

UP Tokens allow for the system to no longer be tied to revenue generated and allow the injection of its native tokens into the game economy as gameplay incentives and wager currency. Therefore, UP Tokens also allow for TallyUP to significantly increase its incentive pool and the size of its economy to attract and incentivise more even users.

UP Tokens also allow for players to win a piece of the pie as UP Tokens represent a piece of the underlying game economy itself as seen in the governance section.

In-App Purchases

Players can purchase in-app items such as cosmetic upgrades, emotes and stickers, or premium access (turning off ads) and other types of in-game collectibles and consumables to enhance their gameplay experience.

Certain items may be exclusively available for purchase in UP Tokens requiring users to buy UP Tokens.

UP Tokens used in In-App purchases are also burned and taken out of circulation, creating further demand and token sinks in the game economy.

Unlocking Access to tournaments

Holding and staking certain amount of UP Tokens over a certain duration of time will allow users to participate in exclusive tournaments for holders by minting exclusive tournament tickets and passes.

Certain tournaments or gameplay experiences may also require a buy-in or entry fee available only in UP Tokens.

Swaps and Redemption

Any in-game currencies (e.g. USD) may be swapped into UP Tokens natively within the app, and during prize redemptions via UP Tokens for various reasons such as needing to purchase an UP exclusive item, unlocking tournament access or simply wanting exposure to the price volatility of UP Tokens.
